Happy Head LLC is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and all other applicable California privacy laws.
1. Your California Privacy Rights
Right to Know
You may request that we disclose what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or sold/shared about you in the preceding 12 months, including: the categories collected; the categories of sources; the business purpose for collection; the categories of third parties with whom it was shared or sold; and the specific pieces of personal information collected.
Right to Delete
You may request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., completing a transaction, detecting security incidents, complying with legal obligations).
Right to Correct
Under the CPRA, you have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct such information upon a verified request.
Right to Opt Out of Sale and Sharing
You have the right to opt out of the “sale” and the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
Please note: Happy Head LLC shares certain personal information (including email addresses and purchase history) with Happy Head, Inc. (operator of happyhead.com) for joint marketing purposes. This sharing may constitute “sharing” under CPRA. You have the right to opt out by submitting a request as described below.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
Under the CPRA, you have the right to direct us to limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to uses necessary to perform the services you requested or as otherwise permitted by law. To limit such use, please contact us using the methods below.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service as a result of exercising your privacy rights.
Right Regarding Automated Decision-Making
You may have the right to opt out of decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Contact us to exercise this right.
2. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
In compliance with the CPRA, if your browser or device transmits a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, Happy Head LLC will treat that signal as a valid opt-out request from the sale and sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You do not need to submit a separate opt-out request if your browser is configured with GPC enabled.
3. Categories of Personal Information Collected
In the past 12 months, Happy Head LLC has collected the following categories of personal information as defined under the CCPA:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, account username, IP address, device identifiers.
- Customer records: billing/shipping address, payment card data.
- Commercial information: products purchased, purchase history, subscription status.
- Internet or electronic network activity: Website interactions, browsing history on our site, email open/click data.
- Geolocation data: approximate location based on IP address.
- Inferences: preferences, interests, and purchasing behavior derived from the above.
We do not knowingly sell personal information of minors under 16 years of age.
4. Categories of Sources
We collect personal information directly from you (account registration, purchases, communications), automatically from your device (cookies, log data, tracking pixels), and from third-party advertising and analytics partners.
5. Business and Commercial Purposes for Collection
We collect and use your personal information to process orders, fulfill subscriptions, deliver marketing communications, improve our Website and products, comply with legal obligations, detect fraud, and share with affiliated entities for joint marketing as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Verification
To protect your personal information, we will verify your identity before fulfilling any request. Depending on the nature of the request, we may ask you to confirm your email address, account information, or other identifying details. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account. If we cannot verify your identity, we will inform you and will be unable to process your request.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require written authorization or a power of attorney, and may separately verify your identity directly with you.
9. Response Timeframe and Frequency
Happy Head LLC will respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of receipt. If additional time is required (up to an additional 45 days), we will notify you within the initial 45-day period with an explanation. You may submit a request to know or access your personal information up to two (2) times within any 12-month period at no cost to you.
10. CCPA Financial Incentives
Happy Head LLC may offer financial incentives (such as discounts or loyalty rewards) in exchange for your consent to collect, retain, or share your personal information. Participation is voluntary and requires your prior opt-in consent, which you may revoke at any time. Any financial incentive program will reasonably relate to the value of your personal information and will be described in writing before you opt in.
11. Shine the Light
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents may request once per calendar year information about personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
